David’s love of tech began in the late 1970’s when he taught himself Assembly Language for the 6502 before getting his hands on a pre-release version of the M0001 that he could disassemble. He has worked as a programmer, journalist, screenwriter, film producer, newspaper publisher, novelist, database architect, and everything else that allowed him to combine his love of storytelling with technology. He has worked for 35 years in the feature film industry, first in Tokyo for director Shohei Imamura and then in London for Eon Productions, producers of the James Bond 007 series. He has completed 11 feature films, 6 triple-A video game titles, and has delivered 25 screenplays as the Head of Business Affairs for the Eon Screenwriters Workshop. In 2017 he left Eon Productions to start up Shared Experience Art Machine, a mass collaboration platform for new intellectual property, in addition to becoming a full-time investor.

As founder and Managing Director of Tyr Advisors, David Chang is an investor and investment banker in the videogame industry. He began his videogame career at IGN in corporate development and went on to found OnNet Europe GmbH, a leading online games company that was acquired in 2012 by Daum Communications. David also served as CMO & Head of Industry Relations for Gamblit Gaming, where he was responsible for game design, business development, and navigating the gambling license process with both state, and international governments. Throughout his career, he has founded several startups in games, gaming, and online payments leading to a first-hand understanding of the interactive entertainment ecosystem. David has co-authored 20+ patents in entertainment technology, is a member of the Producer's Guild, a member of the California State Bar Association, and is a Registered Representative of Finalis Securities LLC Member FINRA/SIPC.

Chris has been involved in project management and execution of a broad range of investment banking engagements, including sell- and buy-side transactions, leveraged buyouts, divestitures, recapitalizations, capital raises and strategic alternatives for both private and public companies. Prior to joining Tyr, Chris worked at Cowen and Company’s Consumer Investment Banking platform driving strategic positioning, brand value, unit economics and growth prospects for Apparel, Footwear & Textiles, Beverages, Cannabis, E-commerce, Consumer Products, Restaurants, Leisure & Entertainment, and Retail clients. Previously, Chris was an Associate in the Consumer Investment Banking practice at Duff & Phelps involved in sell-side and buy-side mandates, and debt and equity offerings; and an analyst at RBC Capital Markets. He received his B.A. in Finance from Morehouse College and is a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) registered representative, holding the FINRA Series 62, 63 and 79 licenses.

Brisbois

Joe has been involved in the development and publishing of video games for 20+ years, filling a variety of roles from design to production, art to business development, providing him with unique insights and direct experience with many facets of the industry. Joe has held senior and executive positions at Sony Computer Entertainment America, LucasArts, Harmonix, Microsoft, and NCSOFT.  He has been involved with global franchises including Star Wars, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and Forza Motorsport and has worked closely with Nike, Apple, the NFL, NBA, and Major League Baseball. As General Manager of Modlife, he led the creation of an online SaaS platform that provided new ways for artists including Pearl Jam, Jack White, Kanye West, blink-182 and others to connect directly with their fans. As Creative Director of Double O Bar, LLC, Joe has worked with companies from NASA to the NFL, Visa to the History Channel, to develop interactive digital experiences, business strategies, and successful strategic and creative partnerships. Joe is a member of the Producers Guild of America.

Kwamena Aidoo

Kwamena Aidoo is the CFO of Square Button, a New Orleans-based holding company that invests in professional services and construction services businesses. Kwamena is also the CFO at GH Mechanical. Prior to joining the Square Button team, Kwamena was a Director and founding member at Cannon Capital, a middle-market private equity firm headquartered in the Boston area. While at Cannon, Kwamena led the firm's research and thesis development practice while managing portfolio companies in the Food & Beverage and Technology sectors. Before co-launching Cannon, Kwamena was a Vice President in the Operations Group at American Capital. While at Cannon and American Capital, Kwamena held VP Finance, CFO and Board Director roles at companies in the retail services, food & beverage and technology sectors. Kwamena began his career in finance at the Clinton Group, a multi-strategy hedge fund, and was an Associate Director at UBS Investment Bank prior to entering the private equity field. Kwamena earned his BA from Columbia University, and MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
